(1940s) A fantastic interior story illustration for the Saturday Evening Post magazine. Possibly during or just after the war years, this art accompanied a depiction of US personnel discovering young lust in the Pacific region. This very much recalls the stories compiled by James A. Michener in his "Tales of the South Pacific", later reimagined in simply, "South Pacific". Handsome art accomplished in acrylic on illustration board. Large and striking artwork. VG+ and uninspected outside of frame. 21.25"x21.25" frame, 16"x16" mat opening.
