(1950s) In the fever of such success and grandiose ideas, the above mentioned "warehouse hut" was, for a short time, thought to expand itself beyond a mere facade storage facility. Here, Charles McKirahan plans to make the facade of the "storage hut" a "warehouse bar" by essectially expanding the space enough to house a thin perimeter bar that would service customers on an exterior space that surrounded the interior warehouse space. This would also utilize an area of the new parking lot. Although this never came to fruition, in some ways the expansion of use in of the "storage hut" did happen in that this building eventually became the BORA BORA Banquet Room. For a short time, it also housed the MAI-KAI gift shop. Years of neglect led to the buildings ultimate descruction in 2023 with rennovations to the business overall. Graphite on onion skin paper.
