(1950s) Here is an almost romantic exploration to the styling of what will become the BORA BORA building next to the MAI-KAI entrance, across the valet area. This building was planned to be a semi-working facade but in actuality, was a storage facility to hold cold and dry goods for the growing MAI-KAI restaurant and bar. Beautiful sketch by architect, Charles McKirahan on onion skin paper. VG+ with edge toning and creasing. Unmounted. IMAGE 22"x14.5", SHEET 24"x17.5".
