(1969-72) Twenty five (25) pen and ink sketches and three (3) blueprint plans. In its formative first few years of operation, SeaWorld San Diego's general areas outside of the sponsored Hawaiian Punch Village was rather spartan in design. This was due to the heavy financial burden it took to simply get the park open. Within a few short years, the concept was proven, ticket sales were high and improvements and expansions were on the way. OA was charged with sprucing up San Diego whilst working on the new Aurora, Ohio park. These neat LeRoy conceptual drawings cover the signage and general decor for the large refreshment area and shopping arcade in San Diego. Note the late 60s/early 70s vibe of the design work. Ink on paper and vellum. Some signed by LeRoy Schmaltz.SKETCHES: 8.5"x14" and various, BLUEPRINTS : 24"x36"VG to VG+ with minor wear and creasing
