(1961) Here is the grandaddy of Tiki design drawings. This figure was created by Oceanic Arts working with Armet & Davis architecture firm for the flagship location of Marriott’s KONA KAI chain in Phildelphia, PA. This massive Maori tiki was first created for Kona Kai, Philly. Later, it was recreated for both the InterContinental Resort Tahara’a in Tahiti. Later, it was again reused for the Kona Kai location in Chicago, Illinois. This is a historic browline print of the original. 21.5”x42.5”. VG+ with edge creasing, folds and general wear.
