(1930s) A brass and oak ships binnacle manufactured by Henry Browne & Son, Station Works, Barking, Essex. Brass plate reads COMPASS No. 3667 N and the manufacturer's tag reads TYPE 88991/B. Intact with brass hood and original Sestrel list gauge. The compass itself appears to be a replacement, manufacturer's mark reads KELVIN & HUGHES, Ltd. A nice decor piece of the type seen on display at Trader Vic's and higher end establishments. Features interior compass lamp.57"x32"x19".VG+ with typical wear from use.
